Default Can u get ALL the heros? or is the number limited?

O.k. I know u can only use 3 heros at a time.

My question is will the game let u get all u can from the qualifiying quests, or will it stop u after u have a given number in your roster?

Yeah, you can only ever use 3 heroes max at a time, but you can unlock and use all heroes after you finish the game. So for like Jin/Sousuke, Margrid/Master of Whispers and Goren/Norgu you can get the one you didn't pick after you beat the last mission. They'll be in the end area and you'll just have to talk to them and then do a simple quest to get them.

Thanks for the info. I have Koss, Dunkoro, Melonni, Tahlkora, and I chose Jin instead of Souske, Margrid instead of Master of Whispersso if I fill in for Master of Whispers with Olias, does that mean that he will take a slot from one of the other heros untill I finish the game or would I still be able to get Razah, Zenmai, and Goren/Norgu.

Pls advise.

After the final mission you get taken into an explorable area. In this area, you can get quests to get the heroes you didn't get during the campaign.

As long as you don't have to chose between one of both you are able to get all heroes.
Apart from those three 'unchosen' heroes and Razah you can get all heroes without having to finish the game.

About heroes:

The "LIST" of heroes you can add is not limited. You can, in the end, have all the heroes on your list. Only up to three of those can be used at one time, though. You can switch them out at any time when you are not in an instance, either replacing them with a different hero or kicking them out of the party to make place for henchmen or other players.

Now, to "unlock" a hero and add him/her to the "list", you will always need to complete a quest. Some of these quests are only available late in the game. Some of these quests are also mutually exclusive. Specifically, you must choose between:
-Acolyte Jin or Acolyte Sousuke (available in Kamadan - available practically at the start of game)
-Master of Whispers or Margrid the Sly (available in Kourna - early game)
-Norgu or Goren (available in Vabbi - mid game)

You will be able to choose only one of these heroes at the time you choose. So, you could choose Acolyte Sousuke, Margrid the Sly and Norgu while playing the game. However, after you finish the game, you will meet all heroes again, and each that you haven't chosen the first time will offer a quest to join your party. This does not mean that you will lose the other one, though. So, after you finish the game, you can get ALL heroes.

You can't get Razah until you have finished nightfall. You can get more info on this by searching www.guildwiki.org for a quest called "finding a purpose"

Is it possible to get Razah or the sin hero without having Factions?

I believe you need the other campaigns to get heroes that are not from Elona.

The two heroes that are campaign specific (you must have it to get them) are Olias and the sin heroe. If you dont have prophecies you can't get Olias. If you don't have Factions you can't get the sin.

I'm pretty sure you can get razah without factions, but you'll be pretty much limited in what he can do though, as most of the ritualist skills are from factions. So without it, you'll be pretty much limited to about 25-30 skills from nightfall only.

OK, about Razah and Zenmai.

Zenmai (assassin) is Factions only. You need to do the quests in Kaineng city to get her, to start with.

Razah (ritualist) is not bound to Factions. I cannot be sure of it, however, people who got him complained that he only had very very few skills available if you didn't have factions, so I'm pretty sure that Factions are not needed to get him.

How to get Razah (the current version):

SPOILERS!

-finish Nightfall
-after you finish, you will be able to acces the area behind the closed doors in Chantry of secrets by talking to the guard there. Kneel in front of the statue, and an avatar appears. Talk to the avatar and ask to be taken to Domain of Anguish (don't worry, you won't have to do any fighting there for this - not any more (phew...))
-talk to Chaplain Phyratyss in DoA, and you will get the quest "Finding a purpose"
-now, leave DoA and go to the Gate of abbaddon. Talk to keeper Shafoss to gain entry to Heart of Abaddon. It's a small regular RoT area, just make sure to only pull one group at a time. I suggest clearing the whole area first.
-find Razah, and he'll ask you to free him by killing three binding spirits. Do so, and he's yours. (Be careful, the spirits have hidden guardians. Especially the one nearest to the entrance to the level, as four titan abominations will spawn when you approach)
